Average Sleep Needs

From babies to infants, there are plenty of different sleep needs:

0-3 Months: Naps evenly spread through the day

3-6 Months: 4 Naps 4-5 hours day sleep 9-10 hours night sleep

9-16 Months: 3 Naps 3-4 hours a day sleep 10-11 hours night sleep

16-24 Months: 1 Nap up to 2 hours day sleep 10-12 hours night sleep

2-2.5 Years: 1 Nap up to 2 hours day sleep 10-12 hours night sleep

2.5- 3 Years: 0-1 nap up to 2 hours day sleep 10-12 hours night sleep

3-7 Years 9-12 hours night sleep
